What is coffee?
Coffee is a drink made from coffee beans, which are the roasted fruit of the Coffea arabica bush. Also coffee is an addictive drink. The more coffee you drink, the more you depend on it. Majority of coffee drinkers are more than aware of this and rely on it to help them get a start to their day.

But are we really aware of the facts about this addictive stuff?
First, we'll talk about the bright-side of it. Whose drooling to a cup of coffee?Whether you like yours hot, iced, black or with sugar, one thing's for sure: Coffee serves up plenty of health benefits. It tastes good, anyone can agree with that. Socially, it is a good excuse to hang out and chat with friends. Drinking one cup increases alertness and short-term memory. It can also instantly improve your mood. Coffee beans contains antioxidants, which become more potent when beans are roasted, that could have health benefits such as heart health or preventing cancer. The caffeine in it has been known to help people who suffer from asthma and can even manage attacks if medication is not available. Coffee, as we all know, contains caffeine, which stimulates the central nervous system and makes people feel more alert and awake, even if only temporarily. Good-quality ground coffee is a source of antioxidants that may help with weight loss.
Now, let's talk about the negative side. Coffee has caffeine in it. A small amount of caffeine intake by a completely healthy person may have minimal effect. Caffeine is a stimulant and it will elevate heart, increase blood flow, and raise body temperature. It increases blood sugar levels and act as a diuretic, meaning you urinate more frequently and reduce water intake. As this no-to-caffeine facts revealed, people choose decaffeinated coffee. But most of us don't know that the decaffeinated beans are HIGHLY processed and probably doing you more harm than just having a normal coffee.
Now we already know the positive and negative side of coffee. Drinking coffee is already a part of anybody's lives. No one can make anybody stop it. Yes, there are pros and cons on this, but at the end of the day nothing beats living a balanced lifestyle. I think we can all agree that if you keep things in perspective, everything will be fine.
